Holy Idiot refers to the divine part of myself that cannot be separated from the human part that often knows better but makes mistakes anyway. Idiot can be defined as a foolish or senseless person. In occultism, foolish can refer to our own less than enlightened self. With a capital letter, to me, it refers to those divinely inspired actions that make us appear to be a fool to others. The term reminds me of the name I used when i started this blog, Frater Bonehead.
